As an expecting mama, the idea of birthing can be nerve-wracking (and sometimes even scary)! We have found that choosing birthing affirmations that are right for you can be empowering as you believe in them and reinforce them in your heart and mind. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite birthing affirmations to help 💛

My body knows exactly what to do.

I was made to do this.

My body has created a miracle.

I feel confident. I feel safe. I feel secure.

My baby and I are doing this together.

I trust my body.

Today is the most beautiful day of my pregnancy.

I am strong, powerful, and in control.

My baby will come when my baby is ready.

The pain of a few hours brings the beauty of a lifetime.

Every day I am closer to holding my baby.

All of the strength I need is inside me

I am supported, happy, and relaxed.

This will not last forever.

My body totally and completely supports this pregnancy.

I get to meet my baby soon.

I have everything it takes to succeed.

Take 5 minutes every day to sit comfortably, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and recite these to yourself. Bonus points if you say them out loud - this can make your experience even stronger and more meaningful!
