Yay! We made it another year! As I reflect on our fourth year of small business, I feel so much gratitude. Every single day I am touched beyond belief that our gifts are able to be a token of your love toward another mama (or yourself). My two sweet children have taught me so much. And the overarching lesson in motherhood for me remains that the better I care for myself, the better I care for them. That is why we do what we do here at Sunflower Motherhood. Thank you for believing in our mission and supporting our small + heartfelt business. ♥
Join us in reviewing what we were able to do this last year with all of your incredible support. You are what keeps us going. Thank you, thank you!
#1 We grew and were able to move our inventory and fulfillment to a large warehouse aside from our office space! This move has freed up a ten of time and energy for me before my oldest starts school all while giving a better experience to you, the customer. This warehouse will ship your order on the same day you order if it's placed by noon!
#2 We launched 10 new products! These all took the better part of a year to design and manufacture due to many COVID delays. We are so happy with how they turned out and love to hear how you have been enjoying it all! It was important for us to create new products aside from our gift boxes so that we can be one stop shop for thoughtful mama gifts - at all price ranges.
#3 We started selling on Amazon! You can find a few of our products on Amazon with free Prime shipping. We plan on selling several more of our branded items on there shortly. You can add gift wrap and gift notes on there just as you can on our website, so it's a perfect solution for quick and easy last minute gifting!
#4 We hit 1000 5 star reviews! Considering how few people write reviews (guilty!), we felt so excited to hear 5 star feedback from this many mamas and gift givers. As a small business, reviews are so helpful for us to grow. Plus, they make us feel soooo good. We would be thrilled if you submitted one!
Again, thank you so much for all of your encouragement over the years. We thrive on your feedback and welcome any suggestions to make our company or your customer experience better. We can't wait for you to see what's in store for our fifth year! Get ready for some cozy gifts for this upcoming holiday season too.
After you’ve given birth, it is only natural that your new priority is your baby. You want to make sure that they are happy and healthy – while using any spare moments to catch up on your sleep and adjust to your new lifestyle.
While it may feel like you no longer have time to keep in touch with your friends, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your friendships with the important people in your life will fall apart. Sure, you may have to start seeing them less often – but there are still things you can do to keep touch with the ones that matter.
For those who are missing close contact with their friends, here are five helpful suggestions for how you can water the friendship tree even in your busy role as a new mom.
The first few months with your baby bring some of the most precious experiences of your life. Your newborn is experiencing things for the very first time – and the look of wonder on their face, and the enjoyment they get from new activities, can be truly magical.
After the stressful first few months have passed, it can be fun to try some new activities together. Whether your little one is in the carrier, lounger or doing tummy time - there are lots of fun (and safe!) things you can do together.
February has arrived… meaning that Spring is just around the corner. But there’s still a few more chilly weeks ahead before we can enjoy the warmer temperatures and longer days.
In the 6-8 weeks that follow after giving birth, it’s completely normal for new mamas to feel exhausted and weaker than usual. That’s why it is so important that you wrap up warm during the cold season and give your body everything it needs to recover.
I recently purchased the AMAZING Sunflower Motherhood hand sanitizer & am so happy with it. It smells so good. I smell lavender, lemon and maybe eucalyptus. One quick simple spritz on each hand & done. Doesn't feel oily or greasy. If I get stressed out during the day, I smell my hands and the essential oils are really calming. I will be buying more and giving some as gifts.
This arrived more quickly than I anticipated! My daughter was saying how poorly she was feeling and didn't know what she could or couldn't do to help with her nausea (sometimes it feels like you can't do much of anything). I went searching on a Friday and found the Sunflower Motherhood Morning Sickness Box. She received it Monday or Tuesday. The pick-me-up was immediate. She commented that she could smell the light scent of the candle coming from the box and felt better immediately.
So far, she has used the candle and the oil roller and says both are lovely - and help her feel better! Added bonus, she felt pampered to receive this beautiful box full of goodies, and having several resources on hand where she felt she had none was priceless.
Keeping my eye on Sunflower Motherhood and definitely recommend!
